Basic Sushi Recipes for Maki Rolls
What you’ll need:
Premium Rice
Seaweed Paper
Toasted Sesame Seeds
Rice Vinegar, Sauce for Sushi Rice
Sugar
Salt
Lemon Juice
Dried Seaweed Kobu
Ingredients:
7 oz. Sushi Rice
1 pc. Seaweed
1 tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
2 pcs Crab Sticks
1 tsp Flying Fish Roe
2 pcs Avocado
1 oz. Tuna
1 oz. Fluke
1 oz. Salmon
1 oz. Yellow Tail
- 1. Peel avocado and cut it into strips.
- 2. Cover a bamboo mat with plastic wrap. Put a sheet of dried seaweed on top of the mat.
- 3. Spread sushi rice on top of the seaweed and press firmly. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the sushi rice. Turn the sushi layer over so that the seaweed is on top.
- 4. Place Avocado and Crab lengthwise on the seaweed.
5. Roll the bamboo mat forward, pressing the ingredients inside the cylinder-shaped sushi. Press firmly the bamboo mat with hands, then remove the rolled sushi.
6. Cut the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces.
